My Experience at Living Waters
Energy and Joy:
- From the delight and challenge of sharing life in a new faith community.
- From the refreshing and stimulating questions raised by the Monday night Bible study group as we wrestled with issues of living faithfully in today’s world.
- From watching the compassion and care of staff and volunteers at A Special Time, the group that ministers to adults struggling with dementia.
- From conversations with hungry folks at the Thursday Community Dinners, as we shared stories of both heartbreak and hope.
- From talking to the fellow who repairs bikes that are given freely to people needing transportation for their everyday lives.
- From worship—that combination of good preaching and music, which was always lively and renewing.
And in addition to all that, Mary and I thoroughly enjoyed living in your lovely condo, entertaining family, exploring the area, soaking in the warm mineral springs, dining at excellent restaurants, and even communing with the alligators.
