Guest Pastor 2010 and 2013
We reveled in the warm weather and spent time on the beach. When we were here in January 2010, the weather was unusually cold.
I enjoyed the opportunities to interact with the church members: the Bible study, the Special Time care givers group, the Thursday dinner and Sunday coffee.
We reconnected with folks from a previous parish, who are now snowbirds and whose daughter lives and works in North Port.
We were intrigued watching the wildlife in the pond behind the condo.
As the second time here, we did not have to rediscover where to go for the items for daily needs, and could spend time to explore other things, such as the Chihuly and the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, and deep sea fishing.
North Port has changed. In 2010 it looked like growth would happen toward Venice but appears to have moved south along 41.
Being retired, this month gave me the opportunity to use my skills again.
We were delighted to reengage with Dell and Diane.
